General for a day
I’m weary of this blog today. I think I’ll go write myself a little something for this other blog instead.
Thank you Professor! Sir!
Posted by black dog barking on 05/04 at 12:57 PMYou’re very welcome, black dog.
Posted by on 05/04 at 01:41 PMWell you obviously have been moonlighting as a ghost writer for Tony Snow. This memo, is more parody and satire than could possibly be honest and straightforward. It evidences MB’s special parodic touch.

There might also be evidence for an increase in pork production and by-product meat-packing, industry injuries, although the tonnage of pork consumed could have dropped.
I am sure the reason that CA real estate values are skyrocketing is due to the capacity of immigrants to stuff more people into the expensive villas and mansions along the coastline, thus maintaining the housing bubble and trillions of dollars of mortgage debt.
Posted by on 05/04 at 07:26 PMExplain this to me please.
It’s from The Corner.
Honoring diversity.” “Promoting social justice.” Rejecting “color-blind approaches to educational service.” “Recognizing individual and institutionalized racism, sexism, homophobia, and classism.” Is this a state education department or an ideological pep rally? And bear in mind that this is the primary college of education in Alabama, not Massachusetts. Even in the heart of Red America (it is the Crimson Tide, after all), the preferences could not be clearer if they posted a sign that said “conservatives need not apply.”
My step-son is in Afghanistan but is hooked on Carolina hockey- so go Hurricanes !
Sorry about your Rangers.

Posted by on 05/04 at 09:45 PMJack—Oh, it’s just a little game conservatives like to play when they’re bored. They sit around and pretend that public universities don’t have any public missions. After the third or fourth round they usually move right to calling for the abolition of public universities, and by the end of the evening, it’s the abolition of “public” everything else. You obviously showed up at the Corner before happy hour.
Posted by Michael on 05/04 at 10:32 PMThanks for the clarification. Now one from me. The except actually came from The Corner’s sister blog - Phi Beta Cons.
What a fun group they are.
