  1. Is that the Beatles’ ‘No Reply,’ or the Buzzcocks song?

Not that that affects the answer…

  2. Beatles, yes.  But it’s good to see someone around here remembers the Buzzcocks.

  8. 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings vs. 2001 Seattle Mariners

In a best of seven? Who gets the home field advantage?

Posted by  on  01/15  at  06:37 PM
  9. Is this a PC with a Penguin or a Demon inside?
And is the Mac with fries?

Posted by Wolfgang  on  01/15  at  06:56 PM
  10. Since Limbaugh is a noted Mac user, that would have to make a Mac non PC.

  11. Alito, but only because the 06 Senate Judiciary Committee is softer.  Red Wings, because the competion was tougher. Kosciusko, on the grounds of versitility.

  14. Okay, I’ll vote:

    1. Alito. 2. Abstain.* 3. 4. PC.** Abstain. 5. I’m polyamorous when it comes to condiments.

    * ‘Run For Your Life’ would get a vote, as would ‘Rubber Room’ by the Freeze, so long as we’re doing songs of that ilk.

** If it’s running some kind of Linux. I would too if I weren’t addicted to Endnote and One Note (god help me)

  15. But Peter, Steve Jobs is a vegan.  How PC is that?

Posted by  on  01/15  at  11:46 PM
  16. Now, now, there are racist-skinhead-drug-and-alcohol-free vegans who have gotten vegan tshirts banned in some schools. Don’t assume.

  17. Alito: he’s sneakier than Bork

PC vs. Mac: PC with the Penguin (Help stamp out capitalist software!)

1995-96 Detroit Red Wings vs. 2001 Seattle Mariners: Brazil 1958--1970

“Every Breath You Take” vs. “No Reply”: Dover Beach (S. Barber setting.) [I don’t know either song in the comparison and am little inclined to learn: ``And when you say Dylan, he thinks you mean Dylan Thomas, whoever that was: the man ain’t got no culture’’]

  18. Alito: he didn’t get Borked. Yet?

Macs: subverting establishment paradigms since 1984

1995-96 Red Wings: hockey always beats baseball.

  19. This all relates to the year 1984, right?

Alito- in 1984 wrote the famous wiretap memo

Police -in 1984, EBYT was no 1

Mac-1984 was the year the mac was introduced

Mariners-1984 was the last time the Seahawks made the playoffs

Kosciusko-1984 was when Midnight oil released this kick ass song (from one of my favorite albums red sails in sunset)

  21. While Autonomy has some great players, they lack a cohesive offense or defense. Deuteronomy’s big advantage is The Coach who is downright omniscient. Woe be to the player who does not play by His rules! Can I get an Amen?

Hey, maybe Dorfman is the same “undergraduate” who had that run-in with Homeland Security over his inter-library loan request for Mao’s Little Red Book?? I feel a deja vu coming on…
